April 2, 2009 - Gebr Heinemann makes Mainland China debut with Bvlgari opening at Beijing Capital International Airport
CHINA. Bvlgari has opened its second
store at Beijing Capital International
Airport Terminal 3. The boutique is being
operated by Heinemann Commercial &
Trading (Beijing) Co Ltd, a 100%
subsidiary of German travel retailer Gebr Heinemann – marking the latter's debut in
the Mainland Chinese market.
The official opening ceremony will take place on 9 April.
Located beyond passport control on the domestic departure
side, the 53sq m store carries a selected assortment of
jewellery, wallets, watches, eyewear and bags for men and
women.
The boutique is understood to be Bvlgari's first in an airport
domestic departure area. It is the second store operated by
Gebr Heinemann in China, following the opening of a Versace
boutique at Hong Kong International Airport last month.
The Bvlgari watch offering will be distinguished by a creative and contemporary style
characteristic of all Bvlgari creations, according to Gebr Heinemann.
The classic leather accessories are notable for an understated style, which “couples
innovative design with linear yet fashionable decorative hallmarks”, Gebr Heinemann
added.
The latest collections are highlighted by “daringly elegant bags with a retro touch that
underlines feminine chic and eclectic luxe”, the company said.
